Two-Part Pottery Workshop: Create Your Own 15 Christmas Tree Ornament Photo Frames
Join us for a creative and fun-filled two-part workshop, perfect for all skill levels! Over two separate days, you’ll learn the art of hand-building with clay and create your very own porcelain Christmas tree ornament photo frames to treasure for years to come. Each session is 1.5 hours long.
Day 1: Clay Crafting
On the first day, we’ll focus on crafting the ornaments. You’ll roll out slabs of porcelain clay and add texture using lace, crochet doilies, and stamps. Feel free to bring along a special piece of lace or fabric that you’d like to press into the clay for a personal touch. With the help of various cookie cutters, you’ll cut out different shapes to form your unique designs. By the end of the session, you’ll have crafted 15 picture frames, each about 3 inches in size.
Day 2: Glazing
During the second session, you’ll have the chance to glaze your pieces in a variety of colors, bringing your designs to life.
This is a fun and engaging workshop, perfect for all skill levels. Children aged 8 to 12 are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
Feel free to bring your own apron—though none of the materials will stain your clothing.
