Rooted in a deep love for the natural world, the Botanical Silhouettes collection captures the quiet elegance of plants and flowers through hand-carved imagery. Each piece begins with pure white porcelain clay, layered with a rich black slip. This slip is infused with iron oxide, giving the surface a warm, earthy black tone reminiscent of aged wrought iron.

Using the traditional sgraffito technique, I carve each design freely by hand, revealing the luminous ivory porcelain beneath and creating delicate silhouettes of botanical forms. No two pieces are ever the same — each one is a completely unique, one-of-a-kind creation.

The exterior surfaces are left unglazed with a soft matte finish, emphasizing the natural textures and carvings, while the interiors are coated with a glossy, food-safe glaze for both beauty and function.

Every piece is a personal reflection of my inspiration from nature — a blending of permanence, organic grace, and quiet strength, captured in porcelain.
