Create Your Own Hand-Built Butter Dish Workshop

Join me for a step-by-step workshop where I'll guide you through the process of making your very own hand-built round butter dish. With over 30 years of experience as a full-time ceramic artist, I’m excited to share my passion and expertise with you.

During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own unique design on your butter dish by selecting from my extensive collection of wonderful texture tools, stamps etc. that I’ve crafted and collected over the years.

This is a fun and engaging workshop, where you will learn two hand-building techniques perfect for all skill levels.  Children aged 8 to 12 are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult.

Feel free to bring your own apron—though none of the materials will stain your clothing. 

After the workshop, I will glaze and twice fire your completed project, which will be ready for collection in about 2-6 weeks. Your finished items will be dishwasher and microwave safe.

* All instructions
* Clay to complete the project
* Finishing, glazing, and firing of your item

Please Note:

Workshops require at least six students to run. If this minimum isn’t met, you’ll receive a refund or credit for a future workshop.

Cancellations require at least 72 hours' notice for a credit. Refunds are not available.

If a workshop is canceled due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen reasons, it will be rescheduled, and a credit will be issued.
