I created the circles on the exterior of this mug using slip, a watery mix of clay, in a process similar to piping a cake. This technique gives the mug a tactile, whimsical surface. The glaze features tones of gray, bluish-gray, and warm browns, making it a versatile and safe color choice for gift giving. The large handle makes the mug very comfortable to hold, and the texture adds to the overall drinking experience, making it a joy to use.
