CREATE YOUR OWN BOWL POTTERY WORKSHOP
Learn the art of hand building with clay. In this workshop we will be making an 8" wide bowl by using a fun hand building pottery technique. Students will be allowed to design various elements of the bowl to create their own unique design. Choose from Sandra's wonderful collection of stamps & texture tools to create your own unique design on your bowl.
This is a fun and engaging workshop, perfect for all skill levels. Children aged 8 to 12 are welcome to participate but must be accompanied by an adult.
Feel free to bring your own apron—though none of the materials will stain your clothing.
After the workshop, I will glaze and twice fire your completed project, which will be ready for collection in about 2-6 weeks. Your finished items will be dishwasher and microwave safe.
The price includes:
* All instructions
* Clay to complete the project
* Finishing, glazing, and firing of your item
Please Note:
- Workshops require at least six students to run. If this minimum isn’t met, you’ll receive a refund or credit for a future workshop. Cancellations require at least 72 hours' notice for a credit. Refunds are not available.If a workshop is canceled due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen reasons, it will be rescheduled, and a credit will be issued.
- Dotti Potts Studio is not responsible for broken pieces, as cracks and explosions are a natural part of the ceramic process and can sometimes happen.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for registration, as workshops start on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you won’t be able to join, as it’s too difficult to catch up and unfair to other students. Likewise, if you leave early, your project may be left unfinished.
- If you finish your project early and want to experiment with extra clay, additional pieces will be charged based on the weight of the clay, plus a glazing and firing fee. Please note that extra items are not automatically included in the workshop, so be sure to check with me before making them.
