This glaze was inspired by growing up in South Africa. I have glazed this vase with multiple layers of glaze to create a very tactile surface that is reminiscent of dry desert earth like that of the Kalahari Desert.  Both the inside and exterior are finished in matte glazes.

This vase looks great with or without flowers and seeing the dirty water is a thing of the past!
